Administration and Scheduling

Transportation provided by Arlington Aging and Disability Services includes transportation to senior centers for eligible seniors, as well as Senior Loop for grocery shopping trips and Super Senior Taxi. SuperSenior Taxi is Arlington County's taxicab subsidized program for seniors age 70 and older.

The fare for Super Senior Taxi can be with taxi coupons.  The taxi coupons are good for Arlington Red Top Cab or Yellow Cab.  You may use the coupons to pay for your taxi fare, companion’s fare, and the driver’s tip.  Coupons may be combined with cash if needed. Drivers cannot give change for coupons. To arrange your trip, you must call the taxi company.  When you call the cab company, inform them that you use a wheelchair or that you will need assistance getting to the cab. If you cannot transfer from your wheelchair, be sure to request a lift-equipped taxicab at least 24 hours before you need the ride.
