Who We Are

The mission of FREE Foundation is to acquire and provide mobility related rehabilitation equipment to maximize functional independence and improve quality of life.

The F.R.E.E. Foundation is a volunteer-led non-profit that provides mobility rehabilitation equipment to help people regain their mobility and independence.  Assistance is provided when all other resources have failed to be helpful.

A range of mobility equipment is available from F.R.E.E. including walkers and wheeled walkers, canes and crutches, bath and toilet aids, manual wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, and other specialty equipment.  The agency does NOT gift respiratory equipment, such as nebulizers, oxygen, or hospital beds.

F.R.E.E. collects, sanitizes, repairs and gifts donated mobility equipment to uninsured and underinsured adults in Virginia.
