Who We Are

At Western Tidewater Community Services Board (WTCSB), the Godwin Building provides programs for walk-in walk-out diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents and adults who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders, but do not need 24-hour care. This facility provides counseling services for patients and families about emotional or personal matters while experiencing difficulty resolving stressful life situations. All substance use services enable individuals to cope with identified problems without the use of alcohol, drugs or other mood-altering substance using the Twelve Step recovery process. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
