Who We Are
Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services, Women's Initiatives, offers a Domestic Violence Program that provides advocacy and support for victims of domestic violence. Confidential emergency housing, individual and group counseling are available for children and adults, as well as an accompaniment to the police department and court. Assistance is available 24 hours. The program also provides prevention education and support groups.
Language: Volunteers and AT&T language bank are available for crisis calls and telephone counseling.
