Who We Are
Hampton Roads Dental Center at Chesapeake Care can provide free dental care to families without dental insurance earning below 300% of the federal poverty income guideline and residing in the Hampton Roads area.
Services available are comprehensive dental exams; cleanings; extractions; and fillings (very limited appointments) for patients wishing to have a cleaning or restoration, a comprehensive dental exam must be done first. walk-ins are not accepted. All appointments are on a first-come, first serve basis.
They rely heavily on the generosity of on-site licensed volunteers, medical assistants, and clerical volunteers supported by a skeleton staff. Over 100 volunteer physicians in the community offer specialty care and consultations on a referral basis. Partnerships with area hospitals, diagnostic centers, community agencies, and donors are critical to the ability to serve patients each day.
