Who We Are
Artemis House is a shelter in Fairfax County for families and individuals fleeing domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking. Artemis House provides crisis intervention, temporary housing in apartment-style units in an undisclosed "safe-house" location. Safety planning, immediate basic needs assistance and comprehensive service planning to prepare for a transition to a more permanent and stable housing are available.
24 hour staff is available to respond to crisis calls and screen clients to determine level of danger. Artemis House provides 56 bed program intensive case management services, individual and group counseling, employment assistance and children's programs.
