Who We Are
SCAT is a pre-arranged shared-ride cab transportation service that Arlington residents can use to travel to and from their homes to the 55+ Centers in their zone on specific days and at specific times. Curb-to-curb transportation service is available to nutrition program participants in the Walter Reed, Arlington Mill, and Langston-Brown Senior Centers. Anyone 55 and older may use this service. Riders must call at least one day in advance no later than 4:30 pm the day before they want to use SCAT or you may reserve your trip up to seven days in advance. A standing order for the same time, same day and destination can be set in scheduling. To cancel a ride, call SCAT as soon as you know but at least 30 minutes before your pick up time.
Travel is to the following Senior Centers: Arlington Mill Senior Center, Lee Senior Center, Langston-Brown Senior Center, Madison Senior Center, Culpepper Garden Senior Center, and Aurora Hills Senior Center.
