Who We Are

DC Rape Crisis Center (DCRCC) offers free individual, couple, and family counseling for survivors of rape; childhood sexual abuse and incest; LGBTQ identified survivors; deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing survivors of sexual violence; and a 24-hour hotline.  All information is confidential within the Center, including information shared with one's counselor and the fact that the person is receiving services at the center.  No information will be disclosed without a signed release.

Call the business line at 202-232-0789 to schedule a 50-minute intake session.  Intakes are an information gathering session, when a counselor will collect basic information about you, your backgroup, and your experiences.  The counselor will also discuss what your are dealing with presently and what you hope to achieve through counseling.

Male Hotline Counselors are available within 1-2 business days to any survivors who would prefer to speak to a male counselor.
