Who We Are
Lorton Community Action Center (LCAL) is a small, non-profit social service agency which helps those in need in the Lorton community. We could not succeed in our mission without the talents, strengths and enthusiasm of our many volunteers. To keep our program running please consider seeking information on any one of the various opportunities we have available. They encompass daytime, evening, occasional weekend, and seasonal opportunities taking any where from one hour to four hours. There are short term and long term opportunities.
Opportunities could include but are not limited to: tutoring/youth, English as a 2nd Language to adults, food pantry (e.g. helping in the food pantry, picking up food donations), working with youth at the Community Resource Center, or assisting with child care during Nutrition program or ESL classes.
