Dental Care

Charlottesville Free Clinic (CFC) offers limited dental services for working, but uninsured adults or children aged 14 - 17. There may be a substantial waiting list. The clinic also provides information and referral to other services. A public-private partnership with Thomas Jefferson Health District.

There are both walk-in clinics and days that appointments are scheduled.

Extractions are provided to low-income adults who live in Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Orange, or Nelson counties and do not have dental insurance. The waiting list for emergency extractions can be 3-4 months.  A waiting list for other services may be up to a year.
