Who We Are

Breast Cancer Support Group - Chesapeake Regional Medical Center sponsors a breast cancer support group for women with breast cancer from diagnosis to five years post-diagnosis. Members of the breast cancer support group call and/or visit each potential participant at the Hospital, and provide information and materials to help her through her difficult ordeal. At the meetings, women share concerns and exchange information. Health care professionals speak on topics of interest.

The group meetings are facilitated by a breast cancer survivor and an oncology nurse. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Free and open to the public. Meetings are at Chesapeake Regional's Lifestyle Center.  Call 757.312.2232.
