Who We Are
Referrals for legal assistance and victim advocacy are offered through the Safe Harbor Centers Victim Advocacy program. The judicial system can be confusing and intimidating, especially when dealing with domestic abuse, which may involve emergency protective orders, permanent civil protective orders, child support, and custody. Samaritan House helps clients understand the process and advocates in their best interest. Victim Advocates also can help clients with safety planning, securing protective orders, and navigating the legal system
Smaritan House partners with local attorneys and community resources who provide reduced-cost or pro bono legal counsel for victims of violence. Referrals for free or low-cost legal assistance are offered through the Victim Advocacy Program at Samaritan House.
