Who We Are

Alexandria Office of Housing can provide housing counseling services for individuals seeking affordable rental and accessible housing in the City of Alexandria.  You can receive email alerts when affordable rental units become available. Sign up for City’s eNews Affordable Housing Opportunities  notices.

For general information about affordable housing rental options you can download the 2019 Comprehensive Guide to Affordable properties.   Please check the website for updated versions.   There is an apartment compare available on the website also.

The Area Relocation Counseling program provides information, coordination and other relocation assistance to residents who are impacted by potential redevelopment or renovations of existing apartment buildings. Contact Irma Garcia at 703-746-3079 for more information.
