Who We Are

The Multiple Myeloma Network of the Blue Ridge is Roanoke-based network of multiple myeloma patients, including their caregivers and supporters of family, friends, or colleagues. The mission of this network is to support, to educate, and to advocate.

Monthly meetings are held the third Saturday at Our Lady of the Nazareth 2505 Electric Road, SW in Roanoke. The two-hour session begins at 10:00 and concludes at noon. Programs such as presentations by pharmaceutical companies and discussions led by members of the medical community are a regular part of the network's continuing education.

Serving southwest and central Virginia, the MMNRB is the only support group designed exclusively for multiple myeloma patients in the state of Virginia, with the exception of the Northern Virginia organization. The network celebrates its second year with a healthy roster of fifty-plus active members and much involvement in place from the local to the national and international level.
