Christian housing ministry has a goal to provide decent housing to those in need and eliminate poverty housing and homelessness.



Volunteer labor and donations of money and materials makes it possible for Habitat to build or rehabilitate simple, decent homes with the help of the homeowner. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit, financed with affordable no-interest loans. The monthly mortgage payment of the family helps to build more houses. In addition to a down payment and the monthly mortgage payments, homeowners invest hundreds of hours of their own labor -- sweat equity -- into building their Habitat house and the houses of others.
