Who We Are

Adult Care Center of Roanoke Valley offers a caregiver support group.  One monthly group provides a support group and resources for families, caregivers, and friends of the frail elderly. The staff is available to family members for consultation on caregiving issues. Educational and resource materials for caregivers are offered for a loan to supplement family knowledge and skills in providing care at home.

This group is sponsored by the Adult Care Center of the Roanoke Valley and The Alzheimer's Association. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:30 pm until 3 pm.  Contact Ruth Parsons if you have questions.

Other Eligibility Criteria
Open to all. Caregivers do not have to have a loved one enrolled in our program, but can bring their loved with them. They can stay in our activity room with our staff.
