Commuter Information and Resources

Northern Neck Commuter Services (NeckRide) can help individuals who commute from the counties of Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland find carpools and vanpool.  NeckRice also offers transportation information for the Northern Neck region of Virginia. NeckRide does not operate vehicles, only offers a drivers and riders database. Commute information is to Northern Virginia, District of Columbia, Newport News, Norfolk, Hampton, Fredericksburg, and the City of Richmond

NeckRide offers a Guaranteed Ride Home Program (GRH)  that provides commuters who carpool, vanpool, or take public transit to work with a ride home when unexpected emergencies arise.  Commuters who register with the GRH Program will be able to use it to get home for unexpected personal emergencies and unscheduled overtime–up to 4 times per year.  You must sign up for this program.
