Empowering Women

Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services, Women's Initiatives, has a mission to empower women and their families by promoting equality, access to opportunities, and services through advocacy and education.

Programs available include youth outreach and education crisis intervention and advocacy, counseling, support groups, shelter for domestic violence crimes, and more.

Volunteer opportunities are available as well.
