Who We Are

Telephone hotlines provide 24-hour crisis intervention as well as information and referral service for adults, teens, and children.

This hotline also answers for two national suicide hotlines and the national rape and abuse hotline. The staff and volunteers who staff the hotline have completed at least 40 hours of specialized training and are prepared to deal with everything from simple information referrals to child abuse or suicide. The hotlines are strictly confidential except in cases where the staff or volunteer would be bound by law to report elder or child abuse, homicide, or suicide.
