Who We Are

The Administrative Office of the Roanoke County Department of Social Services offers information about benefit programs and services to eligible individuals and families, which include Auxiliary Grant Program, Disaster Assistance, Food Stamp Program, Fuel Assistance Program, General Relief, Medical Assistance (Cardinal Care Medicaid), Nursing Home Care, TANF, and Weatherization Program.



Service programs include Adoption Services, Adult Protective Services, Companion Services, Adult Day Care Services, Child Protective Services, Foster Care, Foster Parenting, and Volunteer Services.
