Brunswick County Adult Center

The Brunswick County Adult Center provides a congregate meal,  nutritious meals that meet 1/3 of the daily recommended dietary allowances as required by Federal regulation. Meals are provided to those individuals 60+ years of age who are in greatest economic, social and physical need. Those individuals eligible due to inability to leave their home may be served home delivered meals and those individuals eligible to attend the congregate meal site for socialization are provided their meal in a congregate setting. By addressing the physical, emotional, and economic needs we are able to enhance the opportunity of all older Americans to live an independent life. All locations are handicapped accessible.





Congregate meals give the individual an opportunity to be involved in many organized activities such as crafts, health screenings, health and public education, exercise, travel and tour information, money management and Medicare/Medicaid information.
