What is Daughterhood?
Daughterhood.org’s mission is to support and build confidence in women who are managing their parents’ care. The daughterhood blog, website and social media links connect you — the care manager — to resources and a wholly unique perspective on our health and elder care systems.
Daughterhood is what happens when we put our lives on hold to take care of our parents. Unlike motherhood, we don’t expect daughterhood. And, even if we did, it’s shocking how hard and time consuming it is.
Daughterhood Circle Gatherings
Circles are communities that gather on a semi-regular, face-to-face basis. How often, when, and where you meet depends on the preferences of the circle members and their leader. Our goal is to help circle leaders create a relaxed atmosphere that emphasizes camaraderie.
