Who We Are

ACTS offers a hospital and court accompaniment program. If you have been sexually assaulted, you may want to have a medical exam at the hospital to collect evidence of an assault.  ACTS Sexual Assault Services has an agreement with Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. If you go there for your exam, we are called by Hospital staff to accompany you throughout the lengthy process.

ACTS offers information and assistance to those applying for a protective order and those navigating the court system. The office discusses safety planning and various community resources with the clients.  A court advocate can provide accompaniment to court.  No fees charged.

The Court Advocacy Office is located at 9540 Center Street--a few blocks away from the courthouse in Manassas. For more information about filing for a protective order or other domestic abuse-related court matters, call 703-792-4782.
