Who We Are
First Step offers case management services to assist clients as they transition into an abuse-free life. Many survivors find going through the legal process to be a frightening and overwhelming experience. First Step staff are not attorneys and cannot offer legal counsel, First Step's advocate can attend events to offer moral support and to help to create a safe space around survivors as they go through the legal process. Advocacy is provided from getting a Protective Order through the entire court process.
