Community Outreach and Education about Domestic Violence

My Sister's Place offers presentations, workshops, seminars, and information to the public about domestic violence, its dynamics, and strategies for intervention and prevention. The Agency also does international outreach and presentations for visitors from other countries.

Community Education is one of the keys to eradicating domestic violence through knowledge and education. The staff at My Sister's Place participate in panels, provide trainings and make presentations to a variety of organizations in the community. The Speaker's Bureau, which consists of highly trained volunteers and staff, is one way the Agency provides education and outreach to the community.
