Who We Are

The Sexual Assault Program provides short-term individual therapy, group counseling, and professionally facilitated support groups for women, men, and adolescents.

Their primary services are crisis intervention, education, advocacy, case management, safety planning, and counseling. These services are offered to every client, both in the residential (safehouse) and community programs. Individual therapy sessions are generally held at the 6 North 5th Street location. Calling the hotline will provide access to follow-up from staff, and allow immediate scheduling of appointments.

RHART (Regional Hospital Accompaniment Response Team) staff and volunteers are on call around the clock, 365 days a year, to meet sexual assault survivors at the hospital. They provide emotional support, information, and referrals.

If you are an emergency room nurse or doctor you can request a YWCA advocate by calling the hotline at 800-799-7233.  Access to a 24-hour language line is available for support.
