Event Description
World War II Discussion Group will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from noon until 1:30 pm. Meets every 2nd Thursday of each month. Explore WWII battles, military training, the psychological effects on veterans, life on the home front, and more with monthly presentations by club members and guest speakers. The February topic will be the Battle of the Atlantic with presenter Mike Taylor. The March topic will be Visiting Germany and Growing up during World War II. The April topic will be the fascinating life of Karl Baumann. Free and open to all.
